My friend and I stopped in at Thurmont Kountry Kitchen while in Thurmont. You feel like you have stepped back in time as soon as you enter. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the crab dip which was delicious. My friend ordered the big burger and I ordered the ham and cheese super melt. We also tried the apple crescents. For the amount of food we got we found the prices to be very reasonable. We will be back the next time we are in Thurmont.

Like stepping back to the 60's and 70's. Older establishment, relying on their local clientele for their business. Reasonably priced, good service, laid back, no hurry, good food.

Small and quite place. Good home cooked tasting food. The deserts are amazing as well.

New to Thurmont for the night, we arrived at 6pm on a Saturday for a good meal.Place was packed!!But I could see why...GREAT food, HUGE selection, EXCELLENT price.My friend and I have been traveling through seven states in the last 7 days and this is absolutely without a doubt the best small town home style American food we have had yet. Every single one of the "Chain restaurants" have disappointed...

Home cooked style food. It's as simple as that. Staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered to go, I was greeted the moment I walked in. After ordering my food was ready in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately I was missing an item I paid for but it wasn't worth going back for so obviously they didn't check my order before handing it to me. This was a little disappointing especially since they weren't that busy but I get it... It happens and didn't completely ruin my meal. I'm surprised that they didn't have an online menu. It would have been nice to have been able to call ahead before I got there hence I took some pics of it and will post them here to help others. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great little restaurant with killer deserts. We sampled everything from the burger to the chicken Philly to the milkshake and everything was great. Service was fast and friendly. Our table was a little close to a pole and it was a bit difficult to get in and out so choose where you sit carefully. Bathrooms are also in a narrow hallway and you have to be in close quarters to get to them. Be prepared to exit out the side door, life in 2020! Seriously though, don't skip the baked goods! Cupcakes and brownies are serious!

Old style restaurant in a small town. Silverware served in a small, white paper bag. Some really nice, tasty items and some just okay. The opposite of a chain restaurant. Should be experienced. Street meters 15 minutes for a DIME. That too should be experienced.

Nice little place off the road, good value for the price and well kept establishment. Service wasn't the friendliest but the food was good. Tried the apple cinnamon pancakes, the mushroom cheeseburger, the Philly cheese steak and some sides - all were tasty! Would recommend.

Quaint little eatery in quaint little town! Large menu, basically country cooking, big portions and priced very fair. They also serve beer and wine.

Our family (19 of us) is never disappointed when we reserve the back room for our parties. There's a wide selection, all reasonably priced of delicious country food charmingly served by country folk to country folk. Y'all like country? Kountry Kitchen is the place to go.

Little country style eating place. The "broasted" chicken is REALLY good. Service is decent, but can get a little slow when they are busy, which is understandable due to the restuaraunt's size. Overall a nice little place to eat.
